Sub: levying of charges without adequate prior notice to the customer
I would like to have your kind attention regarding a transaction with KOTAK BANK, PATNA BRANCH against my dispute requests, Dated: 30th April 31st may 16th July complaint no. of customer care 1-49791030 Dated 26th September respectively.
I'm writing the entire matter for your knowledge.
This is regarding a Bank Transaction Charges from KOTAK BANK.
I was unaware that bank has debited Rs. 2115/- on 27th march on account of high cash transaction charges for the month of Feb 08, from our account without being given us prior information or notice.
I have asked the bank to refund the fees and have received no response I have written regarding this ‘n’ numbers of time to the bank, made ‘n’ numbers of visit to the branch, had an interaction with KOTAK official, but every time I got a new date, a new fake commitment & till date I haven’t received any response from bank.
Then I put a mail to Mr. Kashyap (Branch Manager) & Relationship manager regarding this & I talked to customer care, they told me, charged amount will be revert within a week.
But it was not the question of the favor. while It was the question of Non-Responsiveness of KOTAK Bank & its negligence, it was the question of trust which a old customer have for KOTAK, It was the question of liability of bank for his customer to provide all necessary information.
Really I am very disappointed, mentally harassed with such a worst experience with KOTAK. I am passing through a mental harassment made by bank for last 07 months, which I never expected from bank, because I used to think that KOTAK is the best bank of India but unfortunately bank changed my perception. I am a genuine customer of KOTAK for last 02 years, done a lot of banking with them.
I request that you intervene on my behalf, help me obtain a refund above charges, and investigate this issue.
