Deals and You Cheated Me Of My Money

I bought a deal from Deals and You. It was a spa package at Chique salon bandra. After buying the deal, I contacted the vendor who told me they do not have the ability to provide the service they sold. I got in touch with Deals and You about the same. They told me the vendor will be contacting me. It never happened. I then told them to refund my money repeatedly. They finally replied saying that the vendor does not have the massage therapist available, despite the fact that they sold a package for the same services. In addition to that they refused to return my money.

So, in effect I have paid for a service, Deals and You has told me their vendor cannot offer it and yet they are refusing to return my money. Here are the mails exchanged:

That is exactly what my concern is. I want my money refunded. Why is it taking so long for Deals and You to refund a sum as little as Rs 250, when the merchant is clearly not equipped to provide the service he sold on deals and you,

We would like to inform you that you will receive a call from merchant end for massage service, as the massage therapist is not available with the merchant. we are unable to process your request for cancellation of your order, since all the information regarding deal which you have purchased, were mentioned on our website in the "Fine print" section.

As per company's policy, Returns / Cancellations are handled on a case-by-case basis. Unless there is something wrong with the purchase, we are generally unable to offer refunds for products which are already purchased and it has been clearly mentioned in the fine print section.

There is clearly something wrong with the purchase, since in your own words the vendor does not have a massage therapist available.

Why should I pay for a service that the vendor cannot provide? I am submitting a complaint on the consumer forum about this. Along with copies of these E-mails.

Despite my repeated requests the vendor hasn't contacted me and you have made it very clear in your own words that the vendor does not have the ability to provide the service he sold.

I have bought deals from you and rest assured there won't be anymore.
