I recieved a message from the number 59595 which said-
" WIN Nokia N95 worth 35000, Blackbery worth 25000.
Where is the Chittorgarh fort located? A.Maharashtra B.GOA C.Rajasthan.
Send the anser (e.g: C) to 59595. Rs1/MT."
This is the original message quoted, down to the last period.
Well I replied with the correct 'anser' in the correct format, and five messages like this followed, to all which i answered correctly.
But after I replied to the last message, they stopped repliying, and in the end I lost about six ruppees and gained nothing.
It is not about the money that i lost, but in a way it is.
This is betrayal of trust and an insult to the contract bound between the consumer and the producer.
I expect the company to take notice of their departments misusing the authority they have over the consumers. Also I dont expect to leave this albeit minor issue to go unnoticed.
I hope BSNL would atone and apologize, otherwise I am forced to go to the Consumer Court directly.
In any case, I have decided to let the press know of this matter, and the Ministry of Telecommunications should do something about it.
Infuriated beyond words,
A Consumer/Victim.
