I have informed the company about the same. Twice now.
This is with regards to complaint no - 88017. The error message that i get while inserting the pen drive is Please insert a disc to removable disc (G:). I.e. the computer doesn’t detect the pendrive at all.
I had purchase this pendrive approximately 20 days back form a retailer. He mentioned that it has a warranty of 3 years and in case of any problem i will have to contact the Kingston service centre. He also mentioned that i will need to preserve the outer packing of the pendrive. Only because i was given a warranty i purchased this product. When i opened the packing the outer cover was a little loose (black plastic cover) which i ignored as it was not causing any problem.

Now that my complaint was registered and i was told to go to your Andheri E service centre. They said that is product has been opened (which is not true) and we will not even touch it. Forget replacement. Also i was told to go back to the retailer from where i bought it. I had bought a sealed packed piece (Original Kingston pendrive). If the company is selling defective pieces, or inferior quality products its not the customers problem. And even if the company is facing a problem of duplicate products it is not customers problem.
This is the second time i have faced this problem with the company products the first time i ignored it and bought a new one. But this is the second time.
