Recently, I went into Jacksonville Fl., I live approx 55 miles away, to do some shopping. I visited several stores & purchased any number of items at each of them. In reviewing the reciepts, after I returned home, I saw one Item on a Kmart reciept that I could not identify by the Item no.or Abbreviated discription. I called Kmart on Blanding Blvd. (The phone rang at least a dozen times before anyone answered. When they finally did answer, I discribed what the problem I was having. I was told to please wait. I waited about 5 or 6 Min. when I was Disconnected, I redialed & again after about a dozen rings, someone finally answered. I first complained about being diconnected after waiting so long for someone to get back with me. I again explained What I was wanting & I again was told to please wait. I did & after about 5 more Min. the person came back & informed me that the Information I was seeking could not be revealled over the phone & that I would have to bring the reciept in to the store. All this took place over a period of around a 1/2 to 3/4 of an hour. As I said before, I live 55 miles away & a return trip in to Jacsonville would mean an additional 110 mile trip. I told the person (she told me she was one of the managers) that & she just said (very sarcastically) she was sorry, & hung up.
