A/c payee cheque not cleared in 8 days

Dear Sirs/madam,

I have an account with SBI Almora (0605) Branch. I had submitted a cheque on 7th May which is account payee in my name of HDFC Bank with cheque no. 132218 of Amount Rs 10730.00 to SBI Kashipur (0668). I had enquiry about Credit of same but upto 14th May no amount credited and i have not got any satisfactory reply.

As SBI is a such big name in Banking Group and the prestigious image in Banking, I hadn't think of that could happen in a such big Bank unit.

Please do the needful for the same.
