We purchased 2 Spring mattressess from Kurl-on Limited, Koramangala, Bangalore which is a direct company outlet. We ordered for 4x6 size each of pink colour and got the mattresses delivered in blue colour. We realised that our cots are of 3x6 each so 1 inch from each mattresses is more.

Since we didn't measure the size we requested them if the mattresses can be changed and they have stated that they can be taken back and exchanged with 3x6 mattresses but no timeframe mentioned because of the reason that 3x6 mattresses are not fast moving. Kurl-on generally beleives in made to order size and they usually take a day's time to prepare the mattress and deliver to the customer. Since we purchased directly from the company sotre and not a franchisee they said they can send it to the factory and get us 3x6 mattresses.

The mattresses at home are unopened with covers intact but we cannot guaranteethem that they would take back the mattress after sometime and we also had a fear that there might be some unseen damaanges to the mattressSo we have requested them to take back the mattress and send us once the mattress is sold but they were not ready to keep it with them saying that they have no place and have audit issues.

Slowly they ignored us and even when we try to call them, they ignored our calls by saying that Manager would get back to us but none of them bothered to call back. We called them repeatedly but there was no response at all from any of them.

Finally we lost hopes and then one fine day we visited the store and asked them to pick the mattress and cut it to 3x6 . The same day they took the mattress and delivered it right next day but this time in Pink colour which got us suspicious that they might have replaced the mattress and not the same ones. Since there was a difference of an amount of Rs.5000/- between the two 4x6 and 3x6 mattrresses, we thought we could get that refund may be in the for mof buying any other product.

To our surprise the showroom people stated that they would not refund any amount and they told us that the mattress is cut. May be they never realised that they haev sent a different colour than the previous one they had sent. When we asked them why was a Pink colour mattresses delivered when our mattress was of blue colour, then they came out with a wierd reason that they had to change the fabric during cutting. Also, the badge date printed on the mattress is of latest date and not the date as previously mentioned.

We would like to raise this issue with Consumer forum so that such behaviour from Kurl-on would never repeat in the future.
