I had brought a flat on the 10th floor of 'Emgee Greens' B-Wing in March. As the paint was peeling off, I had the entire flat painted before occupying it. During the monsoon of i noticed that the paint in my bedroom was peeling off. I also noticed that this was caused by the seepage of water through the walls. On enquiring I found that all memebers of the building had the same problem and had already informed the Owner at the time. Till date there has been no action on their part. A new management has taken over and has immediately sent out the Maintenance charges to all.
They have billed me from March. Is this correct? This was supposed to be collected from the previous owners... correct?
Regarding the peeling paint, there is more. The ceiling in the other room has a gash in it and seems to be going for the worse. I have submitted a letter to them to have the maintenance immediately done well before the Monsoon arrives. They have recently completed the A wing and are about to start building another wing.
Advice required on how to follow up such matters.
