Charge in waranty period

I purchased Reliance LG mobile before 11 months from Reliance Communication, powai, mumbai. And there was 1 year warranty on mobile.

From yesterday there was some problem in mobile (keys were not working), so I went to LG service center in Ghatkopar, mumbai. They told me that I need to pay 165 Rs/- for repairing charge. I told them still 12 months are not completed and warranty period is there then how you can ask me for charge?

Person at LG service center told me warranty is applicable on manufacturing date not purchase date and that is expired according to manufacturing date. And I paid them 165 Rs/-.

Is this correct way? Warranty should applicable on purchase date. As a customer Why should I worry about manufacturing date.

When I purchased mobile from reliance communication why they didn't tell me such things? Why they are not giving proper details.

Now who is responsible for this? When I asked in reliance communication they told me to contact in LG service center and when I asked in LG service center then told me contact in reliance communication. So what to do?
