Life is NOT Good with LG

I had purchased a 230 liter frost free refrigerator from LG. The machine failed within the warranty period, and I called up the LG customer service number on 11 April and was given a complaint number. I was informed that service would be after 3 days. I took an appointment for the service engineer on 18th April (1 week after the complaint date). However, no service engineer came, although i waited at home the full day. I called up the customer service number at least 8 times during the day, and was told that the engineer would surely come by 8 pm. Finally, at 7.30 pm, i got a call from the service engineer, name Binu, from Phoenix electronics in Pune, who said that he would not be coming, and might come on Monday. When I again called up the custome service number, i was told that Lonavla is a remote location, and the engineer may even come after 15 days.

I regret to say that this is completely unacceptable to me. I have bought the refrigerator to cool my food, not to use as a show piece or cupboard.

I own the following LG products - 4 split ACs - 1.5 & 2 ton, 2 refrigerators of 230 liters, and 1 ref of 520 liters, 1 microwave oven and 1 washing machine. Now I find that LG is unwilling to give service, and I would like to return all these machines and claim a refund. I will also ensure that my friends, family and I do not make the mistake of buying any more LG products. Today is 9 days after lodging the complaint, and still no service or response from LG.
