Please note there are cases where Proposal form along with Premium amount in Cheque was submitted on 26th March, the cheque was encashed by LICI but even after 30 days they remain silent regarding issuing the Policy and so now on enquiring the matter, I've come to learn that they have lost the Proposal form & so due to their irresponsible action I am not being able to avail the IT benefit for the FY 09.
The details of my proposed Policy is Komal Jeevan, Branch 110070, Sarsuna, 620 DH Road, Kolkata, BOC No. of Proposal Deposit reciept 16643 amounting to Rs. 7528.00.
The ultimate grievance is that, the Branch Manager himself is unaware about the fact & when informed, behaved too indecently to protect & hide his faults. On requesting him to refund my amount immediately, he points out the SYSTEM of issuing cheque which may take several weeks!!!
My question is, what SYSTEM do they follow when they deposit cheques in their Banks for encashment when the Proposal form was missing - so am I also to follow & agree to their SYSTEM & wait endlessly to get back my paid amount.?
