LIC POLICY
Foreclosure of Policy Jeevan Plus

My policy no.818851133 dated 06.06. for sum assured - Rs. 2, 50, 000/-. I tried to pay renewal premium on 30.06.09, but failed, hence handover a cheque to LIC Office on 03.07.09, for the renewal payment, at that time LIC local office, informed that my policy was closed, due non availablity of required funds. I was not informed by LIC or their Agent that my policy will be closed if the Unit is less than required. Then I requested local LIC office and also IRDA but till date I hasd not received any message. Please look into the matter and solve the problem
