Hello Sir

My father had a policy details are given below

Scheme: Jeevan Akshay (Pension Scheme)

Policy # : 730010942

Dated : 1-3-1989

GIS amount : 50, 000/=

Deposited at: Panruti Branch, Tamil Nadu

Due to long illness he surrendered the policy on 5-Jun to LIC – Panruti branch (Tamil Nadu) with the following documents

1) Original policy receipt

2) Covering letter

3) Surrender form

4) Status Report of policy

Then on 25-July we got letter from LIC mentioned as “this policy can be surrendered against Medical Certificate only”. So that we submitted the

5) Medical Certificate

On 3-Sep to LIC - Panruti branch. But on 19-sep my father expired then we went and asked your LIC – Panruti branch, they asked many more documents, then on 9-May we submitted the followings

6) Legal Certificate – Xerox copy

7) Death certificate of my father – Xerox copy

8) Death certificate of my mother – Xerox copy

9) Nomination for payment / No Objection letter from my all family members

Now they says the concerned manager is in long leave. So you come later. I couldn’t get any further information / Money. What is way to get back our money?

NOTE :

Regarding this on 17-may I made complaint in direct to Mrs. Parvathi - Chennai-LIC Head office 7th floor. Than Mr. Gandhi – Vellore LIC Zonal office by telephone. But nobody is taking appropriate action to refund our money
