On 17/9/10 I got a call from Rohit Sharma from the no. 0120 3310700 at 5 P.M. stating that I have won a Gold Box worth Rs.3, 30, 000/- (Rupees Three Lacs Thirty Thousand) on the basis of previous purchase made by me from India Today Book Club. Previously also I have ordered products from India Today Book Club thrice and recevied the products ontime. So, trusting on the brand name INDIA TODAY I made payment of Rs.14, 996/- & Rs.15, 998/- through my credit card for the Gold box taxation and processing charges. I was told that right now it is 5 p.m. so we won t be able to transfer the amount in your bank account, instead of that will process a cheque no. 270586 from IDBI Bank Ltd.for Rs.3, 30, 000/- at your residence address and within 3 working days cheque will be delivered at your residence.but, more then 6 working days had passed and I am still waiting for a cheque.
On 24/9/10 I got call from Husain from 011 43798300 giving his emplyee no. as SH8002 that whatever was committed by Rohit is fake and we will refund the entire amount within 4 working days and asked me to again make me a payment of Rs.22794/- and Rs.10698/- for the Gift box.
I am feeling really sad of INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB AND LIVING MEDIA INDIA LTD. for these kind of frauds and I wanted a refund of Rs.30, 994/- immediately.
