I am having a Current Account no. 01050070167 in the name of RAJLAKSHMI at STATE BANK OF INDIA (P-274 CIT Road, NARKELDANGA BRANCH KOL-54)
It was having overdraft facility against the above STDR, for which I have submitted the original STDR for the aforesaid purpose. On maturity on 23.12.2004 (maturity amount Rs.22641/- @ interest @6.25%) I further instructed the bank to renew the said Fixed Deposit and enhance the overdraft limit for which I submitted another original Fixed Deposit Receipt of Rs.4600/- dated 15.04.2004.
On maturity of both STDR I visited bank several times to renew the same, but they couldn't trace out the file in which the original STDR were kept. They asked me to come on several different dates but couldn't find the same. Eventually they issued me the duplicate STDR as follows:

Please note that my 1st STDR was of Rs. 20, 000/- as on 23.12.2002 and they have given credit of Rs. 4393/- only for more than 6 years of deposit and my 2nd STDR was of Rs.4600/- as on 15.09.2004 and they have given credit of Rs. 834/- for more than 4 years of deposit.
I requested the bank to look into the matter, but I am not getting proper response though they are not denying the fact that the interest has wrongly calculated.
I request you to look into this matter and avail me the revised STD RECEIPT with accurate amount.
