Non vegetarian food served as Vegetarian
I flew by LH758 from Frankfurt to Chennai on March 07 in seat number 3H. I have been flying Lufthansa for the past 10 years and also a Senator status!
I had requested for a Special Meal – Asian Vegetarian Meal. I was duly served the AVML meal for dinner by one of the air hostesses. The meal was not distinguishable as Vegetarian or Non Vegetarian by visual inspection.
After consuming most of the meal, I realized that it was a Non Vegetarian Chicken meal. I also located a few pieces of Chicken and promptly showed it to the concerned air hostess. It was duly noted by the flight purser who promised to register a formal complaint with Lufthansa by Tuesday, March 10th.
I do not eat meat due to personal choice and religious reasons. This experience has been most disconcerting. How do I proceed legally against Lufthansa?
