Maharaja Whiteline mixie MX 109
Cheating and poor after-sales service

I was lured by the shopkeeper at M/s Neelam Kitchen Galaxy (H/17, Laxmi Nagar, Vikas Marg, Delhi 110092, phone no. 011-22025675) to purchase a mixie (model MX 109) of your company on 29/06/08. I was assured by him that the equipment can run continuously for 20 to 30 minutes even for wet grinding (receipt no. 076, dated 29/06/08 for Rs. 1200.00).

The motor stopped working within two days of purchase. Upon promply informing shopkeeper of this incident, he advised me to contact Mr. Avinash, who is your service agent (mobile no. 09818451072). After examining the equipment, your service agent told me that the shopkeeper has dumped his product on me- that is, the equipment sold was not appropriate for the intended use as explained while selling it. The service engineer bypassed the trip switch and asked us to use it freely and let is burn, with the assurance that when it burns down he would replace the motor unit with a heavy duty motor at some extra cost.

The motor burnt on 09/08/08. The shopkeeper again advised the service agent, Mr. Avinash. After repeated phone calls, it was only yesterday (20/08/08) that the service agent visited. The service agent fitted the new unit and charged us Rs. 500.00. However, within an hour, this motor burnt out as well.

I would like to question your business ethics and would also like to inform you that I feel harrassed and cheated.

I demand that I be provided a mixie as a replacement.

Regards,

E.P.Haridasan
