VERY WORST VEHICLE FLYTE

My hubby gifted me Mahindra Flyte on this Dashera. I was the happiest lady on this earth on that day. We had gone through many reviews available on net. Finally decided to buy Mahindra Flyte as we thought Mahindra quality and services are good.

We purchased my vehicle on 28-Oct-09, but the problem started within 4 days.

Day 4: First horn stopped working within 4 days and I complained to dealer and took the vehicle. To my surprise the dealer said he is out of stock of horn switch. He re-fixed the switch with feviquick for temporary solution.

Day 6: I realized that handle shakes a lot and for that dealer said it might be due to air. I checked the air and got it fixed as per manual, which is 24 for front and 28 for back (for single riding). Still this problem is not solved till date.

Day 10: Self start stopped working, I thought it is due to cold weather and it will work if I run my vehicle.

Day 11: Self start was not working again and I have to do kick start, being a lady it is very difficult to do kick start. Kick is very hard. I complained this to dealer and as usual he said I have to bring the vehicle to service station (which is 20 kms from my house – Bangalore North). Mahindra service stations are very few in Bangalore. For entire north Bangalore have to travel to city for service. I would have thought this before buying the vehicle. I STRONGLY ADVICE EVERYONE TO BUY VEHICLE WHOS SERVICE CENTRE IS NEAR TO YOUR HOUSE.

Day 12: I complained to Mahindra Helpline number 1800 233 8883 (Toll Free) stating dealer is not cooperating and not would like to bring this your notice. They promised me that they will send this compliant to dealer and he will call back within 24 hours and my complaint will be resolved within 48 hours.

Day 16: No call received from dealer / company. I did repeated complaints to Mahindra Customer care / Dealer, but no hopes 

Day 25: My kick start also stopped working. I had complained this to dealer again and he again said he will send a mechanic to my house.

Day 26: Dealer gave excuse stating that his service centre is closed for 2 days and he will send mechanic after 3 days. I argued him stating how can one can close the service centre for 2 days without being any national/festival holidays.

Day 30: My vehicle is lying in the parking lot in my house. I cannot start the vehicle or run.

I thought I made a big mistake by buying MAHINDRA FLYTE. Their service is very poor. Before selling they will come to your house to give test drive of vehicle and do rigorous follow-up but after sales, NIL service. You will not find any service centre near your house as well. I being even the parts are not available with the service centre you may have to do 2-3 visits for same complaint leaving all your busy schedule.

I am working lady and I cannot take holiday only to get my vehicle repaired. After investing 45 K in this vehicle and vehicle started giving problem within 1 week is horrible.

I SUGGEST NEVER BUY MAHINDRA VEHICLES. My dealer is CVS Motors, Guttahalli, Bangalore. Never buy vehicles from them worst service.
