I travelled with the Malaysian airlines on 3rd June MH128 (Melbourne to Kuala Lumpur) and MH 194 (Kuala Lumpur to Mumbai).
Melbourne to KUL, MH 128, 3 June
KUL to BOM, MH 194, 3 June
Ticket No : 2323946808634
The flight from KUL to BOM was late by 4 hours, on arrival to Mumbai, i kept waiting for my bag on the belt for hours, finally i approached the airlines staff and I was informed that my bag was damaged and they have shrink wrapped. It was already a next day (flight delayed 4 hours 2 hours on belt). I was in hurry to get out and i was not aware of incident such as stealing customer luggage.
On reaching home, i found out that the bag was wholly tore apart, like cut with a solid knife, there were missing items (worth of more than $200AU) from my bag, including my degree certificate, case of stealing from the customer luggage. I was returning home after finishing my studies, I am completely shocked with such an incident.
I contacted the Mumbai airlines staff, they sent me a letter promising a compensation of just INR 4800/-. I need airlines help regarding the loss of my certificate. The Mumbai airlines staff is avoiding my calls, they are not picking up the calls, hanging up on me. I am completely help less.
I hope the authorities bring justice to this. I need help with the loss of my degree certificate.
