Please provide us our luggage and appropriate compensation for the difiiculties we faced in our trip due Air india mistake.

I was Travelling from Delhi to Portblair via Calcutta for family trip on 22-11-10 on Fight number AI112.

When me and my wife reached Calcutta airport our luggage was not present on Airport and we were told the our luggage is misplaced and after some time they told us that your lugage was not loaded in the flight due to irresponsibility of the staff and is still at delhi airport. So we went to the Airindia office which was far away from the airport to file a complaint about our luggage. They said You can collect your luggage from portblair Airport. Then on 23-11-10 when we reached portblair we were told that we are not able to find your luggage yet. So were at our trip without our luggage. We have to buy all new clothes for 1 week and other daily usage stuff.

Air India's staff told us that we will send your luggage at your permanent address and you will get compensation also.

When we returned back from our trip we didnot recieved any communication from your staff and it has ben about 20 days that they even gave us a single call instead we are following up daily and they are directing us to someone else every day.. It is Air india responsibility to contact us and deliver the luggage with to our home and give us the approiate compensation as we faced lots of problem due to the mistake of air india staff. Instead of understanding their responsibility Air india staff told us "That your luggage has been found and you have to come to the Delhi Airport to collect your luggage and you will not get any compensation" Previously we were told that my luggage will be dilevered at my permanent address with compensation. This was not expected from the airlines staff and authority as we already faced many problems due to their mistake. We were on our trip without our luggage due to which we spent thousands of Ruppes to buy things and there were many necessary things that we need in our trip. This mistake of Air india staff totaly ruined our trip.

So we are expecting that Air india will take the responsibility of their mistake and will deliver our luggage as soon as possible and will provide appropriate compensation to us.
