I had given my Maruti-800 car to M/s Bhaiji Motors Pvt. Ltd. Chandrapur (Maharashtra), Maruti Service Dealer code -H301 for 4th paid inspection as it had already completed 2 years on 9th December. I had also requested to attend the few drop lekage from engine and to do the Wheel balancing work. They asked me to collect my car on 10 Dec at 14.00 hrs. When I reached their Work shop on that date on time they did not delivered me the car at that time on the ground that they had still to change the Gear and Brake oil.
Any way they parked the car near the Exit Gate at about 17.30 hrsTelling me the work has been done, Lekage has been attended and all other works has been comleated. They never asked for a test drive.
They handed me a Tax Advice of Rs.3399-/ but asked to pay Rs.3900-/ as they explained that Tax Invoice of Brake oil and Gear oil can't be raised due to certain problem. They never explained me about the 4th item of the invoice.
However in view of reputatation of Maruti Company I paid the amount and taken out my car.
I felt some starting problem that day, but after giving the self for two times the car started and i brought the car. Next dayon 11 Dec. I went again to there service center and told them that the lekage problem has not been attended and also about the new problem but they said that lekage may being noticed due to change of oil filter assembly and it will not occur again and starting problem is not there as at that time it started normally. I also asked for the Cash Memo for the Brake and Gear oil at this they issued me the desired cash memo.
Later as I took my car to city it suddenly failed to start on 9th March 09 . I tried to rush the Bhaiji Motors the auotherised dealer of Maruti but to my surprise the Service center was found locked. I enquired to the security people there and as per them it could be opened only after 28th March. Any how I came back to my quarter and took out the battery and got it checked and charged but still the car fails to start. The battery condition is ok.
My Complain is that
1) they took more servicing amount without doing the real job.
2) They did not attended the problem and cheated me by telling that the work has been done.
3) The Maruti Dealer has closed his workshop without any public notice.
I request the Fourum to advice me next step against such a reputated firm.
