We booked a swift Dezire in Aug 09. Delivery mentioned to us was 10 weeks. We kept on following up with dealer, whose responce used to be that " company is not responding to querries & we will let you know as soon as we hear from them". While they kept saying this they wrote a letter in parallel stating there is a delay of four weeks and tentatively delivery will be three & half months, which works out to delay of 5 weeks in eight weeks. This shows that Suzuki India has no control whatsoever on their own scheduling. This is bound to reflect on quality also.
When I phoned up dealer for clarification on this lack of co-ordination in their organisation, I was told that I can go for a "Ritz", which is same technology. It is a pity that the company has produced a car which is probably not selling in the market and the company is trying devious means to push it. I have test driven Ritz and find it not worth the money being charged. My assesment was vindicated, when I saw a brand new Ritz broken down on road and the owner tearing his hair.
Now company instead of trying to push sub standard (Zen Estillo, SX4 - some examples example) products in market by trying to brow beat customers, should hike up the production of their good products instead of making customers unhappy.
I know, this suggestion / complaint also may face same treatment as others where no corrective action has been for months togather. However, I write this as human beings are always hopeful.
