As per the latest advertisement from cosumer court on telivision, saying false costs & discounts of a product with a ' * ' at the bottom is a crime.
This is an experience i got from Maruti Suzuki. They have placed the advertisement for their product Wagon R-DUO (LPG) in the newspaper Daily news & Analysys (Pune edition) dated December 20. The ad says "WagonR now @ 2.78 Lakh".
When i actually visited the showroom Kothari Wheels, Viman Nagar, Pune on Dec 25 i came to know that exact price of the car is Rs 4, 05, 052/- causing a difference of Rs 1, 27, 052/- between quoted & actual price.
As per the rules of consumer court, this is a punishable offense. Please look at this issue seriously, as this fools the consumer.
