I have given my car for fixing the damaged windshield to national automobiles, F-1 kothari compound no.3, near d mart, manpada, thane on 11th feb. i got a call from mr. deshpande on 16th saying the work is done and the bill has come to about 2800. iam having bajaj allianz car insurance. the bill was split as rs. 500 for claim, rs 650 for washing and servicing, rs 350 for rubber and 1200 (total 2400 but 50% discount so 1200) for sealant. i was told about all the previous three but not about sealant. i enquired with other garages and dealers and was told that the cost of sealant is not more than 500 or 600 and that only one is required as against two, which was claimed by this national automobiles. i contacted the concerned persons including the agent, who in my case was mr. nilesh (shop no. 2, vidya manohar society, opp sidharth towers, thane E), i contacted the engineer who had come to inspect the vehicle, mr. amol, who told me that he had given only 1 sealant and only one was used for fixing the windshield. i really feel cheated. kinly advice/help.
