Have purchased an Alto through Maruti True Value in October (Model 2004 in 1.33 Laks) from Dev Motors - Aligarh (Authorized Maruti Dealer). And my suffering started since then ….
1. Even after 7 months I didn’t get any papers of the car…. Contacted true value office many times, got assurance but no result.
2. Car is having many problems from the very Ist day… I am mentioning only a few. i) silencer is too low so smashing all the speed breaker with “unique sound” ii) Vehicle is not aligned iii) body of car is lower and need upliftment….etc etc… they provides 3 free services and all the problems were pointed out in Ist service request … now all services are over and all the time they said “we will do it next time/our alignment machine is out of order/ for uplifterment better we contact local technicians… simply unique solution of every problem.
3. Car was using brake oil like anything and need brake oil at every 50-100 kms… service center staff told us “master cylinders, break cylinder and brake shoe must be changed and charged 3000 Rs. of this. We have already spent 3000 Rs. in the IInd service…Doesn’t it look strange to spent 6000 Rs. on repair in six months without getting car papers and most of the problems (except oil brake) are still unattended??? also they have suggested many more things to be changed in vehicle. Here it is important to note that my vehicle is strictly in domestic use and do not run more than 5 Kms a day.
After each service finding of many extra nuts & bolts in engine cabinet is common. They even did not focused the lights.
4. Most interesting thing happened in the last service when I argued them regarding the unsolved problems and standard of services…they told me it is a “non-true value” deal. I was shocked as all the papers were given on Maruti true value letter head in Maruti Showroom.
I request Maruti,
1. If they are not selling true value items (only) or selling both true value and non true value items kindly change the name to something like “Maruti Resale Centre” and stop cheating the consumers.
2. In a higly competitive market its really important to think about customer care and customer satisfaction, also focus on training the technical staff. Please pay some attention on this.
Last thing I want to ask why someone should purchase a non-true-value vehicle from Maruti and not from local market where its much cheaper???
I hope this complain will attract some attention from Maruti. In case of any clarification feel free to contact me at 9412277319/9820376292.
