Sir,
I have been purchasing aarey milk regularly for the consumption of my family. The milk is delivered to my house daily through a local person. However, today when I fell short of milk I went to a local authorized Aarey milk booth. The cost of one litre of milk is Rs. 26/- (as per the printed mrp). However, this smart guy charged me Rs. 28/-. On questioning him he told me that he had to referigerate the milk and the extra Rs. 2 was for referigeration. I am unable to understand as to how can he sell the milk without referigeration? It is absolutely unfair to pass the cost on to the consumer who is already paying through his nose for an essential commodity like milk. Please take this guy to task please and save so many consumers who just pay the Rs.2 extra for no reason. The said booth is located at Napean Sea Road, Opposite Hotel Regency, next to Modern Dairy, Mumbai - 400 006. On asking him his registration number he asked me to buzz off.
