I had booked Mega Cab on 1st May for a pick-up from Kandivali (w) to International Airport for 3rd May at 1230hrs for which I received a confirmation SMS (Ref No.422). At 1200hrs I received a call from Mega Cabs Call Centre that they had a vehicle breakdown and will not be sending me the car. I was shocked that at this last minute I will not be able to get any taxi or car and will miss my international flight which would have resulted in my late reporting to my job. I asked for the Manager which they refused to give and assured me that he will call me back in 10mins which he never did. Luckily I managed to get a cab from Meru Cabs and was able to reach the airport on time. This type of unreliable and unprofessional service is totally unacceptable and it spoils the image of India with the international community. I would strongly request that RTA should take strict action aganist this company and cancel their licence. Moreover with my experience I would not recommend anybody to take their services which is very poor and unreliable.
