Verification whether have I actually Won prize and how to claim it

Dear Sir / Madam,

I received an email form Microsoft Yahoo Online Lottery ([email protected]) stating "YOU HAVE WON 500, 000.00.pounds". Please verify whether it is true and Should I provide them my details or it is a fraud???
