I have purchased a motorala mobile model L6i from Cell Point, 47-11-29, Near Diamond Park, Visakhapatnam 530016 on 15-04-08 for Rs 3500, vide their receipt lNo. H194 dated 15-04-08. It worked okey for three months. Some time in mid July it suddenly developed battery problem with indication "INVALID BATTERY". When approached, the shop keeper told me to show to service centre.
The service centre told me that they will send it to Chennai for inspection and repair and they cannot attend to it locally. They said it will take about 15 days for its return. I however did not wish to part with it immediately. When I enquired from some reputed local repairers, they said it will cost about
Rs 700/ to 800/ to change the battery charging chip which I did not prefer. My point is when other repairers can undertake its repairs, why the Motorala service centre cannot do it locally. Can u please intervene and do any thing needful in the matter.
