Recently MTNL is faltering from its services as providing a friendly communication service. My telephone 26496254 is not in working order since 2nd september. The reason given to me at Khar telephone exchange was cable fault, also 140 telephone numbers of 2649 etc.. are dead due to the same fault. I think it is some inside job to promote the sale of MTNL garuda cell phone service as I have not noticed any telephone officer working in the area to resolve the fault.
