Wrong Berths alloted for 26/09/08

Sir,

90 days before the date of my, travel, I booked 2 berths on Train No, 0011 for 26th sept 08, and was issued ticket for two senior citizens. (No. 27965045) PNR No.832-1936898. I checked the ticket and found an error in place of boarding, which was corrected. However because vision problems I read LB & Lb. However on closer scrutinyit turns out that I was issued UB for both berths. the berths In the interests of delivering results, I shall not dwell on whom the blame lies.

Suffice that I am being treated for Heart Disease, Hypertension, and Parkinson's disease My wife suffers from Osteoporosis, and it is very unlikely that I would 90 days in advance have requested UPPER BERTHS.

I would request you on humanitarian grounds to change my reservation to LOWER BERTHS.

I shall be arriving MUMBAI, EARLY ON 26TH SEPT., AND request that you send me the correct tel no & I SHALL COME TO THE OFFICE for endorsement.
