Not able to get exact position of passport status

I applied for passport vide file no. CHDZ57170108 on dt. 07.07.08 Group Z. I sent four photographs on 07.10.08 as desired by the R.P. Office, Chandigarh but still i do not have any information regarding exact position of the passport.
