Non payment of dues

Iam holder of NSS 4726 and and submitted my pass book along with other document on 27th Aug at Sarojini Nagar Post office, Newelhi for refund of the amount due to me. My payment was delayed due to some departmental enquiery and finally after lot of persuation and hard ship I was granted partial payment on 11 09 2007. I am still making frequent visit to the post office with no result. It is said that Indian postal system is most efficient and holding the largest deposit of commen man's saving. If this is the way costemers are being trated I wonder where our country is heading.

Kindly suggest me whome should I approach and how I can solve my problem
