Dear Sir/Ma'm,
This is to inform you that i've not recieved the refund for last two financial year (07 & 08) which will be approximately (11.4k 29.7k)=41k without interest. This is really unfortunate to state that due to irresponsible attitude of the employee my PAN number wrongly entered in someone else record and as a result the cheque came to my residence with a different name which I could not accept. On investigation with the IT Department at Kolkata I came to know about this and the concerend official also committed that as this was his mistake hence he is taking the full responsibilty and will make necessary arrangements to dispatch the refund cheque by AUG 1st week. But till date I've not recieved it and whenever i'm following up the concerned official he is kept on saying that it will be done by 1-2 days. Please help me to get the refund as soon as possible.
