I have taken addmission in nis acadamy's MBA prgramme in 2005. they claimed that our institution is recognized by the UGC and affiliated with JRN RV University. I was cheated and duped by the opposite parties, who by making false representation through advertisements allured the complainant to get admission in NIS Academy, whose degree was neither recognized nor have affiliation with a recognized university. after that weasked them to returned our fee back, for which they refused. After that we filled a case in patiala house. but there no result seems to be generated. then we filled a case in consumer court on nov. then again our lawer ask us to file individual case, which we does.
but still i am waitin for result. what i know about consumer forum is that they takes only 3-4 months for a case. may be our lawer is not taking our case seriously. can u plz tell what should i can do? should i file another case in consumer forum? is it acceptable to the court that the time gap is more than2 years?
