NOKIA, 6300
Phone damaged when submitted for checking

I had bought a Nokia 6300 handset from the South Extension Store, New Delhi. I an April the phone stopped working and I sent it for repairs to the Nokia Priority Center in Kalkaji, New Delhi. I had asked them to only check the phone and not repair it without confirming.

After 10 days I got the phone back wherein they suggested that the total repairs would cost Rs2, 500. When I showed that phone to another Nokia Priority dealer, Pritam Pura, New Delhi, to my shock and surprise, I was told that the motherboard of the phone had been replaced by an old one and that he identified with the stiches on the back of the phone. He said that phone had been tampered and mishandled to an extent that now even after repairs there is no guarantee that the phone would work for more than 10 days.

It is surprising what silly mistakes a company as big as this can make. Its a shame. The world leaders in cell phone play cheap tricks??? Amusing.

Awaiting a solution because the phone is still under warranty.
