Dear Sir / Madam,
This is a complaint towards the Nokia care center located at Shimpoli, Borivali (W), Mumbai - 92.
One of my phone's key (phone model 6233) was not functioning and hence I went there for fixing it up. The rest of the phone was working perfectly fine. They asked for sometime diagnose the problem and agreed to that.
After a while, I was called again and was suggested that I get my complete keyboard changed - which would cost me Rs. 1, 100. I said I would think and let them know if I want to do it, and asked them to assemble the phone and give it back to me.
On assembling the unit and starting it, the person told me that there is some problem in the phone and to fix that they would have to erase my phone data. This means I would lose all my phone contacts - which were in excess of 500.
I was obviously furious over this and started questioning as to what they have done to my phone. They would have definitely messed up something because of which this problem happened. They in turn put the blame back on me saying that why did I get my phone checked with some other phone care center earlier.
They restarted the phone again - at least my phone list was safe - but because of some software issues, the phone takes more than 90 seconds to start up. Instead of fixing this up - the owner of that fnachise put the blame back on me and threw me out of his premise. He even refused to share his visiting card with me (so that I cannot place a specific complaint towards that person).
I hope some action is taken against this fanchise and specially against its owner. This is not something that is expected from the country's number one brand.
