Dear Sir,
I wish to inform you that I bought a new Nokia E71 handset from Planet-M, Magadi Road, Bangalore on 5th November. I started off using the handset from yesterday and I was shocked to see that the handset hung and I could not operate further. I called the dealer today and he just asked me to switch off and reset the handset, which I could do on removing the battery, live, i.e., without switching off the handset, as it did not switch off either on pressing the power button. And I experienced the same trouble shoot, several times over the past 10 minutes. I am not using the handset anymore. I called the dealer and he has asked me to get the handset to him, so that he can reload the application software or send it to nokia care for repair. I do not want to get this set repaired, as it is just less than a week, please.
I would appreciate if you could instruct the dealer or nokia care, to replace the handset, as I feel that I have taken a wrong decision to go in for this handset, after paying around 16k...
Your immediate redressal is awaited, please.
