I am out of work because of the slow down. Since no new recruitment in IT is going on I was searching out for some kind of work till the IT marrket comes to normalcy.
I came across to a classified ad in times of India for working from home. I called the given number. The lady informed me that it is data conversion project. After reaching over there she said we charge registration fees of Rs. 2550 which we will return once you finish 6 months with us. They gave me 200 pages for converting the pdf in the word format as per guidelines.
At first time the lady asked me setup the pages according to certain ways. I showed her 10 pages. She approved 10 pages & asked to do the setup for the rest of pages. After submitting a job of 200 pages shes asked me to come after 12 days for taking the chaque. After reaching to them for chaque she told me she want the pages to be setup in the different way. I conveyed her my displasure & informed her that it is not a good practise. I told her I am not interested in continuing work with them & requested to return Rs. 2550 which they have taken from me as registration.
She gave me another job & promised that there won't be any problem with the payment.By the time I came to know this is fake thing where few girls were recruited to market the fake ads & handle the related pressure when the client reaches them for refund.
I worked on the second job & observed same problem. When I was in the office I saw similar problem with other people.
I asked the lady to show a list of people approaching for them for the work & the once to whom they are paying. The lady informed that she can provide such. It is against policy of the company.
They are continuously giving the ad. I am not sure if they have any client or they are downloading fake pdfs from internet. Or if they have the client from whom they are receiving the work. But they want the work to be get done at free of cost for avenue infotech. Where every time new new people will approach them for work. Once they receive the completed work they inform the individual that your work is not 95% accurate. During registration they take signature on the page saying it is a formality where they talk about the accuracy. People build the things as per guidelines when they submit the pages the avenue infotech ladies adds new rules & say they were expecting like the new ways.
Is there any regulation in India for such companies. They give the 2 ads one for data conversion & one for tying. In the ad they just give mobile numbers. They show 2 companies a enterprises & Avenue infotech. There office is in Mehra Complex (opp. Sakinaka Telephone Nigam & Vijay printing press), Saki naka, Andheri (E)
Is there any way to get back my money & altert the other people for not approaching such fraud companies for work.
