My Onida TV is not working for the past two months. (No sound). My complaint has been registered in the M/S Smile"N" Care, Onida Customer Relation Center, 29/717 B, Parayanchery, Mavoor Road, Calicut, Kerala on the 3rd week of July.
I have an extended AMC (I paid Rs 1530/-) from 08-12-06 to 7-12. (Cash Memo No: 228 dated 10-5)
One technician (Shri. Harilal-his Mob No: 9947033237) had attended the complaint within one week and said that some chips required replacement and I had to wait 2-3 weeks as it was out of stock.
Now two months gone. I have reminded them a number of times. Every time they repeated the same reply.
Now the Technician is telling that the TV Board may be changed and they would give a new TV board at 50% discount price. So I have to pay approximately Rs 1500 extra for the board. This is not acceptable to me.
Now I am really disappointed with these people. Why a reputed TV Company like Onida is behaving like this?
Today also (15-09), I spoke to the M/S Smile"N" Care Onida Customer Relation Center, Calicut (Ph. No: 0495-2743502). I told them that I was left with no other option but to complain before the Consumer Protection Forum, Wayanad.
I request www.http://inconsumercomplaints.com to kindly take necessary action to bring this matter to the Onida company and help me to get my TV repaired at the earliest.
