Hi,

We had gifted a Onida washing machine to my sister one year back, exactly after 1 year it gave the problem. They booked a complaint with Lalbaug service center and engineer visited the house. He told that the chassis is gone bad and need to be replaced. once the chassis was replaced, he did not fix the spinner properly and next day when spinner was tried it started making huge noise. They contacted service center again and new engineer came and asked wether the spinner was tested yesterday or not. My sis replied not. Then he opened the machine and said that the motor is faulty and needed to be replaced.

When i spoke to Mr. Deshpande who is manager for this service center, he laughed and told that there could be some burn in the motor. When i told him that leave the motor and we will get it checked for the problem, he lied that we have to send the motor back to onida company. When my sis asked the engineer, he told that we sell it off is scraps.

I feel lalbaug service center is totally unprofessional. They have unprofessional engineers and they make customers pay for their engineers mistake.

I would request everybody not to buy onida equipments if Onida doesnot own this and take action against the lalbaug service center.
