The above company who claims themselves to be Authorized service centre for repair of crompton greaves pump assemblies had taken our vacuum pump for repairs on 16th Or 17Th July and told us that they shall be telling us the estimate for the repair if possible before actual repairs were to be carried out. For this they said that this is upto us if we want the vacuum pump to be repaired after the estimate is given to us, and told that there inspection charges shall be Rs 250/- which we agreed to pay in case we donot go for repairs.
But later on, on 20th July we were told that the vacuum pump had been repaired and they told us to pay the bill amount of Rs 5033/-. We told them that they were supposed to give us the estimation, then why they repaired the pump before taking our approval.anyhow we paid them the amount which itself was higher than the amount charged by other agencies for similar work.
As on date 08-08, the pump is not working and is not making any vacuum at all. We requested them to look into the matter to which they are not able to diagnose and rectify the problem, as they had taken the pump again to their service centre but of no use. The problem remains the same.
We are now asking them to give back our amount to which they start fighting with us and claimed that the pump is Ok from there side.
We now want that such companies should be penalised and our amount should be refunded back as our company reputation had suffered at Govt. Institutio where we had installed this vacuum pump.
An early action shall be highly appreciated.
