Pan card not received

I have applied for a name change in my Pan card after marraige. But its been more than 4 months but i haven't received my updated Pan card yet.

The status for last more than 2 months says "Your application for 'New PAN Card or/and Changes or Correction in PAN Data' has been forwarded to Income Tax Department"

I wonder does it take more than 4 months just to forward the application to Income tax Dept. And still not getting processed.
