NOC for re issue of minor passport

Dear Sir,

I have spent more than 2 weeks trying to apply for a renewal of my Minor son's passport. His existing passport lapses in July. But since we will have to travel in the coming months I will require a minimum 6 month validity for Visa.

I was asked to get my husband's passport copy & a no objection letter. When I provided both, I was told the No objection letter must be attested by the Embassy in Kuwait. My husband works offshore in Kuwait & finds it difficult to take a couple of days to process the same.

When I made my son's initial passport, I was the only parent available on site. I also understand as per Annexure H, for renewals one parent's approval & availability is enough.

Pls advise.
