Delay in getting passport

Hi,

I am Krishna. C, I applied for Passport on 14th July. My passport number is Z804118. Still i didnt get my passport. And i need the passport to take MS from US by writing GRE exam. Delay in getting Passport will effect my career. Also i need to give my passport number to take GRE exam. I need my passport as soon as possible.

Actually i wasnt asked for a residence certificate while applying for passport. After sending i got a letter asking for residence certificate, and i sent it 1 month back. Still the status of passport was not updated in online. I need it as soon as possible. Can you please look into it and help me to get it soon, Please...
