Change of date of birth and renewal

Sir,

I, ravikumar bandela, bearing passport no: N555192 issued on 13.02.1993, which was expired on 12.02.2003 respectively.in this my date of birth was feeded wrongly as 16.11.1971 but, actually my date of birth as per SSC record is 16.11.1976.

in this issue how can i change my date of birth?

my passport was expired in the year today is 2009 .

6 years passed away after expiry, is it possible for me to change the date of birth and renewal my passport now? or shall i hand over the old passport and apply for the new one?
