appointment will be definitely terminated. As a starter/ new employee, you will earn a monthly salary of Eight Thousand Pounds
(£8000). Therefore, your two years contract document will be signed as soon as you arrive London. Your work permit processing

Brief Explanation Of Job Responsibility
Your area of work responsibility is to initiate motive ideas, which will improve the economic and social standard/growth of the
company in our Purchasing or Stores Department as our Financial Planning and Budgeting Analyst. You will be responsible in

Work/ Break Period And Holiday Entitlement
As an employee, you will be working 5 days a week, Monday to Friday and from 8:30am to 3:30pm daily. There shall be 1hour

You are also entitled to 3 weeks paid holiday in a year. At the end of one-year service, an extra days holiday entitlement is given -

Disciplinary Procedure
Our policy entails that any newly recruited staff of Petroleos de Venezuela (UK) SA must portray devotion to his/her capability of
managing his/her personal responsibilities before being certified a good and responsible worker. It is to this knowledge that we
have laid down rules and regulations and the functional standards for operation in Petroleos de Venezuela (UK) SA for recruiting
and accepting qualified staffs.
Where the company believes that the employee has acted in an unfit manner, in the course of carrying out his/her duty, or the
employee brings the Company’s business into disrepute, the employee will face a disciplinary inquiry.
If an employee is found to have committed a minor misconduct, the company has an option of a verbal warning (in writing), or a
written warning depending on the severity of the misconduct.
If an employee is found to have committed gross misconduct, the company has an option of a verbal warning (in writing), a written
warning, a final written warning or instant dismissal. The company also has the option to suspend an employee especially where
the company needs to make an inquiry into the misconduct.
Contract Notice Period Required From Both Employee And Employer
During the duration of your employment, contract notice of termination by either party shall be stated below or cash in lieu.
The minimum notice periods are as follows.

As an employee, you must send a copy of the notice to your immediate supervisor for circulation to the appropriate departments in

In anywhere an employee is being dismissed for gross misconduct, the company will decide if any notice period will be applied
and/or worked.
More information relating to this procedure will be given to you when you have presently resumed work with Petroleos de

Grievance Procedure
In all but one instance, you must report any grievance to the immediate supervisor. Where and only where, the grievance is with
the immediate supervisor, you can make your grievance known to the immediate supervisor at your department or to the
Management of Petroleos de Venezuela (UK) SA.
Please note that we expect you to show us your ability to work under pressure, and a willingness to work in varying conditions,
highly motivated, ambitious and generally educated to a Degree standard. With these abilities, we will definitely place you in a

According to your employment process as an international employee, your interview will be conducted after your three months

To this effect, we signed a contract agreement with the United Kingdom Home Office Government and with the United Kingdom
Immigration Service here in London to issue you work permit employment documents and residence visa to United Kingdom so
that you will immediately forward the documents to your country embassy in order for them to confirm your employment and also
allow you free entrance to United Kingdom because work permit documents are only procured in UK and all documentations must
be processed and completed at the same time.
Please note that light bills, accommodation charges and other utility usage charges are free and will be paid by the Company.
Flight details and any other details relating to your visit to United Kingdom will be given to you immediately after we receive
information from the UK Home Office Government/United Kingdom Immigration Service here in United Kingdom that your
visa/work permit documents has been processed and sent to your home address in your country for immediately submission to
your country embassy for clarification purpose and allowance to visit United Kingdom.
Also note that Petroleos de Venezuela (UK) SA does not pay Visa and Work Permit Fees For International Employees.
