CIBIL - Wrong entry in CIBIL against my Name

Dear Sir,

It is with great regret, i would like to inform you that a personal loan of 1 lakh as wrong entry is reflected against my name in CIBIL. On further enquiry of the above with my bankers HDFC i was told that this is purely a wrong entry as it might have erranously entered in my name as against someone else who must have availed such a loan. This wrong entry has been creating enormous damage to my personal credibality with my bankers as well as with many other financial institutions with whom i have dealings on various accounts.

I would like to request you to look into this matter and ensure that the above wrong entry reflected in my name is eliminated urgently. For your kind information The details of the wrong entry are as below.

1. Name as reflects - Diljit Menon

2. Date of disbursement - 12- Oct

3. Amount - 1 Lakh.

4. Account Type - Join PL account (which is very unlikely according to even my bankers)

Let me once again emphasis that an immediate action is anticipated from your end as iam very badly suffereing due to this anomaly as the same acts as an hindrence to my financial dealings as stated above.
