I am chairman of Ujwala Co-op. housing society. One month before there was crises of water in society. Therefore managing committee decided to shift existing water supply connection and get one new connection from KDMC (Municipal corporation). We engaged above mentioned Plumber. He quoted about Rs.54.000/- for work. After negotiation it was decided to complete work for Rs.40, 000/-. We made full payment with trust in advance. The plumber with conspiracy with municipal authority changed work decided and misguided society to do more work with intention to get more money. he diverted work and done different work. He sent bill of about Rs.35, 000/-. He had not given us receipt of payment. He is not submitting original documents to society. Moreever he is demanding additional money and threaghtening us.
What can be done? Please advice.
