Fleecing Tourists and Government

Hi,

I recently visited Mussoorie. During my stay, I had food at Pool Café (Whispering Windows, Library, Mussoorie, Phone: 2632020).

I was given a handwritten bill but they have added VAT on this bill. As per my information, legally VAT cannot be added on Handwritten bills (VAT can be charged only on machine generated bills). I has previously complained against one merchant in Punjab regarding the same.

Can you please take action against the said restaurant as he is not just fleecing tourist and Government but is also spoiling reputation of the city.

I have the bill with me, I can mail you a scanned copy if needed.
